"Force Of Habit" is the first completed song from the upcoming Jeremiah Ellsworth album, "Servitude". This song features Rick Beyer on guitar and vocals, Mike Carpenter on bass and keyboards, and guest drummer Dave Kirsten. Written by Rick, it's an evocative mood piece, opening with dreamy piano, and lyrics describing a bleak mental landscape. The sounds of rain and thunder complete the feeling, before opening up into a powerful riff and high-pitched ending to transform a wistful tale into a powerful saga.
And this is only the first track. More to come.

I like the intro~
the piano is nice. Very melodic compostion.
The lyrics are nice. I would like to have heard the vocals opened up a little, the sound is a little closed, but then again this is coming from the reverb
This is a pretty song aweeeeeee
Is this a strickly piano/synth composition. Are those strings real? I would like to have heard a build up of other instruments added. little brass, guitar, drums... fill out the production. But don't get me wrong. this is a nice melody in it's simplicity as well.
Good job Mcarp. And very very impressive Soundclick page
